About Hunt CC

Hunt Country Components was founded in 1990 for the purpose of supplying quality components to the various segments of the seating industry.  From our 40,000 Sq. Ft. distribution center in Thomasville, NC, we ship to customers across the United States and Canada.  We stock components manufactured in the USA, Europe, and Asia from both open and proprietary tooling. Vendors are chosen as supply chain partners based on their ability to ship consistent quality products with lead times that meet our restocking needs.  We pride ourselves in our ability to maintain stocking inventory levels necessary to meet the needs of the current market.  Customer service is the keystone of our business model.  Everyone from the sales representative to our warehouse personnel are tasked with placing our customer's needs first.

We supply the following three products and services to our current customers:

Quality Control

A sampling from every incoming shipment is inspected and must be approved before a shipment can be placed into inventory and made available for sale.  Standards for inspection are set by vendor drawings and past performance issues.  Gauges and other measuring tools are used in addition to CAD drawings during the inspection process.  Inspection records are kept on file and cartons are coded to insure future production lot identification.  BIFMA testing is required from all supply chain partners and products are occasionally sent to independent USA test laboratories to insure that they meet our product standards.

Limited Warranty

Products sold by Hunt Country Components are warranted for a period of five (5) years from date of invoice against defects in material and workmanship.  Gas cylinders are covered with a lifetime warranty.  This warranty covers the replacement of components which fail during normal commercial use and not subject to abuse or used in an improper manner.  We have the right to request the return of any products for which a warranty claim is made.  Extended warranties can be issued on an as needed basis.  Please inquire.


Orders should be placed with our corporate office via fax, e-mail, or telephone.  Telephone orders should be followed up with written confirmations before time of shipment to insure order accuracy.  Pricing will be verified upon receipt of order.  All shipping is FOB shipping point unless previously arranged.


Open account may be established by completing a credit application and submitting  it to our corporate office.  Upon approval, credit limits will be established and terms of Net 30 granted unless otherwise discussed.  If credit is not approved shipments will be made on a COD or CIA basis.

Returned Goods Policy

Damaged, defective products, or products shipped in error, to be returned must be accompanied by a Return Goods Authorization number.  Contact our corporate office to request an RGA number.  Credit will be issued upon receipt and count verification of returned goods. If goods are being returned because they were shipped in error, they must be in condition to be resold and not damaged or soiled.  No deduction from a payment may be taken until credit by Hunt Country Components is issued.  Goods being returned must be packed in a manner to adequately protect them during shipping.

Shipping Damage

If cartons are missing or appear to be damaged upon arrival,  a notation should be made on the carrier's delivery ticket.  Hunt Country Components cannot be responsible for improper handling by freight carriers.  It is suggested that a photograph be taken of any shipment that appears to have been damaged in transit.  At Hunt Country Components we machine shrink all of our pallet shipments to provide protection of goods during transit.
